Long ago in a galaxy far, far away The Earthians were born deep inside the belly of a cloudy nebula and then suddenly cast out in a violent interstellar implosion that sent them hurtling through space at light speeds, careening wildly towards the bright blue rock that we now know simply as “Earth”…
Ok so..4 guys got together through Craigslist and mutual acquaintances to play some music but…the space story reads better though, right?
What is true is that The Earthians have fun playing music together. They share a common love of reggae and ska music. They all bring singing and songwriting talents to the table. And when they put it all together along with their diverse tastes and backgrounds, it produced an infectious groove that they knew people would get down to.
Offering their own spin on classic and contemporary covers is a staple of this band. And by playing a mashup of rock and reggae styles, with elements of ska, indie, pop and even country thrown in along with great lyrics, they are starting to put together some of the best original music this area has heard. It all adds up to a funky, danceable, energetic show that can get the crowd involved and moving.
Active since the Spring of 2013, this quartet has now played over 60 live shows in venues such as bars, fundraisers, festivals, and private parties. With an elite sound system, pro live sound engineer, killer light show, and nearly 100 songs ranging from classic and contemporary covers as well as originals, The Earthians have something for everyone, for we are all earthian!
